Lindsey Vonn is part of the 2010 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit models lineup, along with other Olympic athletes, Hannah Teter, Lindsey Vonn, Clair Bidez, and Lacy Schnoor. Under the "Olympic Athletes" cover headline it reads: "Lindsey Vonn melts mountains." Gee, I always thought it was snow and ice that melted, not mountains. The cover girl for this edition is Brooklyn Decker. Meanwhile the Winter Olympics are taking off this month, the first women's event, the super combined, is scheduled for Sunday. The downhill is slated for next Wednesday. Lindsey Vonn says she suffered a shin injury on 2nd February, which might rule her out of the competition. "It happens to be exactly where the boot hits my leg," Vonn said. "It's probably the worst place you can have an injury because you're constantly pushing against your boot and there's no way around it. You can't just pretend like it's not there. You feel it in every turn."
