Canadian boxer Steve Molitor defeated Argentine Dario Azuaga by technical knockout in the co-feature of the Rumble at Rama IX event at Casino Rama in Ontario, Canada. The bout was Molitor's first since reuniting with trainer Chris Johnson, with whom he won and defended the IBF 122-pound title four times between 2006 and 2008. Azuaga (75-16-2, 64 KOs) seldom landed effective punches, as Molitor's superior hand speed and height advantage were noticeable from the opening bell. The Argentine veteran held his hands low and retreated throughout the fight, allowing the southpaw Molitor to connect with straight left hands and right hooks with relative ease.
