Cristiano Ronaldo was bought from Manchester United by Spanish club Real Madrid for a ton of money....£80million. Another ton of money has gone for Ronaldo's insurance; of his talented and muscular legs. In a recent match Real Madrid suffered a 2-1 defeat against Juventus in the Peace Cup semi final in Seville on Friday. But worse, during the game, Czech defender Zdenek Grygera tackled Ronaldo and planted his studs into the forward's right knee. Real Madrid have since taken out an £85m insurance policy to protect Cristiano, and his legs, from such tackles. Insurers will pay out if Ronaldo suffers a serious injury. Real Madrid are thought to be paying more than £4,500 a month for the new policy. The deal means the Portuguese winger's legs are among the most expensive in the world:

Nereida is a native of Majorca. The Spanish model, who has had curly hair extensions since their split, protested, saying: 'But he is my ex-boyfriend'.
