Manny Ramirez returns

After a 50-game suspension for taking a female fertility drug, Manny Ramirez returns with a game for the Albuquerque Isotopes in a Triple-A minor league baseball game against the Nashville Sounds on Tuesday in Albuquerque. The Dodgers are going to lengths to ease Ramirez’s return. Six team officials accompanied Ramirez, including the assistant general manager Kim Ng, the conditioning coach Mike Winkler and the media-relations director Josh Rawitch.



After playing three games here, Manny Ramirez (above center, photo by Craig Fritz/Associated Press) will return to Los Angeles on Friday and play three games for the Dodgers’ Class A affiliate Inland Empire, in nearby San Bernardino.
