Lakers Rockets tied

The Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets are tied 3-3 in their seven game playoff series; leading to a highly anticipated game 7 on Sunday at Staples Center. In game 6 on Thursday the Rockets beat the Lakers 95-80 with Luis Scola getting 24 points and 12 rebounds. The Houston team has playing without many of its stars, including Chinese giant Yao Ming who has an injured foot. That is why Aaron Brooks, who led the Rockets with 26 points, frankly admitted, "We still have no chance. We will keep playing, though."

Meanwhile Kobe Bryant, is now back to four technical fouls, as his technical foul against Ron Artest (below photo: Larry W. Smith/EPA) in Thursday's game, was rescinded by the NBA. Players are allowed six technical fouls in the playoffs before being suspended for one game after they pick up their seventh.
