Snowboarders Aspen

At the Winter X Games 13 in Aspen, the snowboarding results are out. In the men's snowboarder X event, Nate Holland won a record fourth straight title, Graham Watanabe was second and Stian Sivertzen came third. In the slopestyle competition Shaun White won a record eighth Winter X gold medal. White utilized all parts of the slopestyle course, even clearing a 75-foot lip on a crossover canyon feature. He was the only snowboarder to try the switch from one table to the other.

Female snowboarders results

Australian Torah Bright (above picture AFP) won gold in the superpipe while American Kelly Clark was second. The latter's teammates were famous female snowboarders Hannah Teter and Gretchen Bleiler....Gretchen had to leave the contest with an injury while Hannah took the bronze.

Lindsey Jacobellis won her second snowboarder X crown. Helene Olafsen was second, and Sandra Frei finished third. Jenny Jones took the gold in the women’s snowboard slopestyle event. The last day at the X Games in Aspen will be for the skiing competitions.
