NBA news roundup

The Boston Celtics slump is over after their 118-86 over the New Jersey Nets on Wednesday night. Paul Pierce got 22 points and Kevin Garnett 20 for the Celtics while Devin Harris led New Jersey with 17 points.

The New York Knicks handed the Washington Wizards their sixth straight loss 128-122.

The Indiana Pacers beat the Detroit Pistons 110-106.

The Philadelphia 76ers beat the Portland Trail Blazers 100-79.

The Toronto Bulls beat the Chicago Raptors 102-98.
