Mike Comrie returned from surgery, and a long layoff, a much healthier man and with his hockey and skating skills sharper than ever. "I can honestly say it was the first time I felt healthy," Comrie said. "Playing on one leg isn't the easiest thing as a professional athlete. I feel so excited to make a difference."

Mike Comrie scored two of the New York Islanders’ three goals in a 4-2 victory over the visiting Florida Panthers on Dec 31. Comrie, who returned Dec. 19 after missing 17 games with a hip injury, has scored in three straight games.

I'm not much of hockey buff, hence there is little on this blog about that game. The only reason to talk about Mike Comrie is his pretty girlfriend Hilary Duff:



"You know what? I was quoted saying I was a virgin, but I absolutely did not say that," Hollywood actress and former teen star Hilary says in next month's Maxim Magazine issue. "That's nobody's business but my own."

So Hillary Duff is not one of the viriginity celebrities; she also denies giving lap dances to Mike Comrie. And on her rumored engagement to Mike she says, "I'm a relationship person. Now it's all over the Internet that I'm getting engaged to my boyfriend. The truth is, I just like to wear rings!"
