Anderson Varejao

LeBron James notched his first triple-double of the National Basketball Association season as the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Chicago Bulls 117-92. James collected 16 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds and Anderson Varejao (below) scored a career-high 26 points for the Cavaliers, who were without injured center Zydrunas Ilgauskas.

The Brazilian Varejao, shot 9-of-14 from the floor, made 8-of-13 free throws and collected eight rebounds as he surpassed his previous career best of 18 points. Anderson Varejao, starting in place of Ilgauskas, was on the receiving end of several assists from James.

26-year old Anderson Varejao is averaging 8.3 points per game this season. ''I'm pretty comfortable, playing with confidence,'' Varejao said last month. ''I feel pretty good out there. I've lost some weight. I like the way I'm playing.''

The Cleveland Cavaliers are considered one of the best teams in the NBA this season, alongside the Lakers and Celtics. The eagerly anticipated Celtics Cavaliers clash will take place on January 9!
